    Newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to Canada Andrzej Kurnicki made his first visit to Montreal.

    The meeting at the Polish Consulate in Montreal with representatives of the Polish community (presentation of his professional achievements, current government policies and key assumptions of Polish diplomatic activities in Canada, discussion on the current problems of the Polish community in Montreal) and a participation in the mass and the meeting with parishioners in the Holy Trinity Church (the mass was celebrated in the intention of the Society of Patriotic Brotherly Help) were among the agenda of the visit. Ambassador Andrzej Kurnicki also gave an interview for the Polish broadcast on the radio CFMB.

     

    Hs wife Agata Wrzoł-Kurnicka, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Montreal Michal Faleńczyk and First Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa Zbigniew Chmura accompanied him during the visit.
