    The Polish Consulate General in Montreal restores off-site consular services in Nova Scotia. The next session will be held on February 23, 2013 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Polish Honorary Consulate office in Halifax, 14 Samuel Terrace.

    On this date, a Consular Officer will be in Halifax to accept applications for passports, notary and translation services, citizenship services.  Services will be available by appointment only.  Please send your requests as early as possible to: or call: +1 514 937 9481 ext. 230 or 231.


    Appointments will not be given to discuss visa issues. For visa requirements please consult this page.


    For documentary and administrative requirements for passports, check this page (available in Polish only). Passport applicants need to show a valid Polish passport, a photograph and have PESEL number. Please call or e-mail us for further information, especially if your passport is no longer valid or you do not have PESEL.

    Failure to bring all necessary documents may substantially delay the processing of your application or render it impossible.  Please note that, due to the limited equipment and staff available at the off-site, certain additional restrictions will apply to applications submitted during off-site collection: 


    • Exact payment must be made by Money Order or certified cheque in favour of the Polish General Consulate in Montreal. We cannot accept cash for off-site consular services. Check the website or call for information on service fees.
    • You must provide a copy of all documents. All documents will be returned via courier at additional cost for postal service. 
    • You must arrive for your appointment no more than 15 minutes prior to your assigned time.
