    The Polish youth, representatives of Polish organizations and the Consulate General of Poland in Montreal have honoured the memory of Poles buried in cemeteries in Montreal.

    As every year, on November 1 and 2, the Polish youth, representatives of Polish organizations and the Consulate General of Poland in Montreal have visited Cemetery Pointe-Claire, Cemetery Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, and Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts to light candles on the graves of Poles who passed away in Canada.

    Following the Polish tradition, November 1 marks the day of All Souls, the day of commemorating those no longer with us. On that day, families and friends visit the graves of the deceased and light a candle as a symbol of memory of and respect for the ones who who passed away.
